Being a Disciple of Jesus

Matthew 10


When Jesus called his disciples, he blessed them with supernatural gifts and he sent them out. As for their preparation, Jesus said that they are not to take any money, possession or comfort they have. It means they will only rely on God and be fed by others and by Him...
I realized that being a disciple of Jesus is:
I. A full-time commitment and dependence on Him.
He shall supply all your needs.
He is the only key to be effective in our calling.
He is the only one who will give us the ability to be useful.
II. Losing one's life
III. Being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.
IV. Bearing the cross and following Jesus


Do not fear trials and persecutions. Just press on with all the convictions. Someday, everything will be as clear as day.
Do not fear those that kill the body. Kill those that are able to kill the spirit!
A. Always be spiritually minded
B. Remove all worthless things in your life
C. Love God above EVERYTHING ELSE!
